I’ve tried various products for my curly hair and these are my favorite! I used deva curl for over a decade and had tried other popular products like lus. They all dried out my hair and smelled horribly of artificial fragrance. I’ve been using vida bars for 3 years now and my hair dresser asked what I’ve done differently since my hair feels healthier and my scalp isn’t flaky anymore. Switching to vida bars and making gel from whole flax seeds has changed everything. Also as a perk, I keep the bars with my linens and they all smell nicely of lemongrass!

They leave my hair really soft and light feeling. Though I’ve been using shampoo bars for years now, I’ve struggled to find a conditioner bar that doesn’t weight my hair down and with greasy buildup. This one doesn’t at all! It’s quite lovely. Doesn’t do anything in particular for my wavy hair though, which, considering how much it’s marketed for accentuating curls and waves, was a little disappointing. But in general I like it and will try another blend or two as well.

Ive been buying from this company for 1 1/2 years now. I found it while looking for a bar soap for curly hair specifically as was delighted to see a model front page with my curl style. The bars last at least 3-4 months for me. Its monumentally cheaper than the bottle soaps I was getting. Shipping has been faithful. Overall I love this brand and I recommend it to anyone who asks!

The Balance set left my hair clean and light without drying! My curls have not been this bouncy in so long!

Love love love these bars. My Latina hair is easily weighed down and can be super oily. These bars leave my hair feeling so clean and my waves are fully alive and happy (ringlets have even been coming out!) I'll be switching from my bottled shampoo/conditioner to Vida Bars permanently, and I already bought a few sets as gifts for my other wavy and curly friends and family! 10/10 recommend!
