The smell and quality of the bars is nice but unfortunately it was very irritating to my scalp psoriasis. I would recommend to anyone that does not have psoriasis.

I switched to bar shampoo and conditioner over a year ago and I love the results, but my current brand has changed my conditioner recently and my hair wasn’t feeling or looking as good. This Vida Leave In not only really conditions and moisturizes my hair, but detangles and leaves my curls shiny and defined. It’s like three products in one! I love this bar, please don’t change a thing!

My hair and I have been on a long journey, from not accepting my curls to the big chop to finally embracing my curls. And through this journey, I have also struggled to find something that could help me lower my impact on the planet. I used to think I would never find a leave-in that didn't come in a bulky tub or bottle that would only last me maybe a month. But with this bar, my curls are happier, more defined, and bouncy. This bar lasts me up to 3 months (I have medium-length hair). I will say I had a learning curve with it, but once I narrowed it down, my curls look amazing even without a product to lock in the leave-in. I am so very grateful for this product and look forward to doing my hair! I've been using this product for almost a year now and don't ever think of going back to any other product!

My hair routine:
Shampoo, condition, and detangle my hair with Vida bars (I love the soothing bars), and right before I get out of the shower, I rub the bar on my ends, working my way up, making sure I flip my hair so that I can get all of my hair, not just the top layer. I then brush the product through my hair to make sure it is well-coated. I flip my hair upside down and style it. The last step is scrunching before plopping my hair and letting it dry partially before adding any gels or mousses.

Honestly, just take a chance, I promise you won't regret it! I even bought one for my mom(curly hair) and my sister(wavy hair), and they also loved it! Does not weigh down hair and doesn't leave any castings!

Like most curly haired women, I've tried product after product. When my last leave in was discontinued, I went on a quest to find a cleaner, non toxic leave in conditioner that hopefully styled my curls and tamed my frizz.
The Vida leave in conditioning bar makes my curly hair look like I've spent time defusing and doing "all the curly hair tricks", when in reality, I'm simply doing the bar rub on my wet hair and letting it air dry. I find the wet hair is the key. (Not quite dripping, but almost). And it doesn't take a lot of the bar rubbing, either. With other products I always had to use a lot to get my desired effect and at best I'd rate them a 6 or 7/10.
I give Vida a 10/10 - I love my curly hair again!

I have been trying other leave in conditioner bars over the past year. Wow! The Vida Leave in Conditioner is my favorite hands down! My salt and pepper curls stay hydrated all day and also, I don't need to use a curl cream afterwards. Just wash, leave in conditioner bar and go. I have gotten comments like "your hair looks great today" I will be a repeat customer.
