Our Balance shampoo bar is handcrafted with gentle surfactants, best suited for those with oily scalps and dry hair. Formulated to clean your scalp while hydrating and moisturizing your hair. Ingredients like kaolin clay and ayurvedic neem powder help maintain a balance between your combination of oily and dry needs. Light mango butter and lemongrass essential oil help your dry hair moisturize your hair.

Our Balance conditioner bar is handcrafted with light moisturizing ingredients, perfect for those with oily scalps and dry hair. Formulated to help moisturize your hair yet avoid an oily scalp, made with lightweight ingredients like mango and kokum butter, and the added benefits of sugar beet extract and panthenol.


We’ve carefully selected ingredients to provide unique benefits to your hair. Worry free care for your tresses, free of sulfates, silicones, drying alcohols, parabens or harsh chemicals. Long names are hard to understand, so we’re breaking it down to let you know what it’s derived from.

My waves have never been happier!

Love love love these bars. My Latina hair is easily weighed down and can be super oily. These bars leave my hair feeling so clean and my waves are fully alive and happy (ringlets have even been coming out!) I'll be switching from my bottled shampoo/conditioner to Vida Bars permanently, and I already bought a few sets as gifts for my other wavy and curly friends and family! 10/10 recommend!

Never going back to bottled Soaps

So far it’s been day three using this set (I don’t wash my hair everyday; just one day yes and one day no). I would like to say that I see a whole lot of difference. I’m never going back to using the infamous brand of bottled hair soaps. My hair doesn’t look indented after a shower and waking up the next morning. It looks a little more voluminous. Also, it helps with my sensitive and itchy scalp too.

Best shampoo bar

I’ve been looking to switch to shampoo and conditioner bars. I tried another brand and wasn’t completely satisfied and since I was running low on my bottles shampoo and conditioner, decided to try the Vida Bars. It lathers so nicely. It takes some time to get a lather but I think it’s well worth the switch. I especially like that the bars are made for people with curly hair. Bonus that it’s a woman-owned company and plastic packaging. All wins in my book!

I really like this shampoo. I prefer the hydrating shampoo. It would be awesome if you created shampoo for regular/straight hair and not just curly hair. I have family and friends and I would for them to use your product
